Thailand's New Visa on Arrival List - 2024

Thailand has increased the number of countries eligible for visa on arrival from 19 to 31 starting on 15 July 2024.

What is a Visa on arrival?

Visa on arrival is a type of visa issued to travelers upon arrival at a specific destination. Instead of getting a visa from an embassy or consulate prior to traveling, you can receive a visa upon arrival at the airport or border checkpoint of the country and allow you to stay up to 15 days 

When Does It Go into Effect?

The government has officially taken effect on on July 15, 2024. Citizens of 31 countries will enjoy a 15 day visa on arrival to Thailand.

The requirements and visa fee are still the same, you need to prepare your passport, bank statement and 4*6 cm size photo and visa fee THB2,000.
