The Vietnam e-visa will be valid for up to 90 days for single or multiple entries. This means you are no longer constrained by the previous 30 day e-visa limit. And you can always renew the visa inside vietnam for even longer stays.
Starting from August 15, 2023, these new rules will come into effect.
Prior to this announcement, the standard eVisa for Vietnam permitted a single entry and allowed a maximum stay of 30 days.
Vietnam eVisa is currently granted to citizens of 80 countries including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and most European countries. Click here to check the list.
This means that Thailand now has more competition for the people that want to stay in one place for 90 days.
