How to get to
By Land
The most common way to get to Doi Suthep is by road. You can hire a taxi or rent a car to drive up the winding mountain road. Alternatively, you can take a songthaew (red truck taxi) from Chiang Mai city center to the base of Doi Suthep and then climb the 309 steps to reach the temple on top of the mountain.
By Air
The nearest airport to Doi Suthep is Chiang Mai International Airport. From the airport, you can hire a taxi or take a songthaew to reach Doi Suthep.
By Sea
Doi Suthep is located inland and does not have direct access to the sea.
